Faith Companion holds personal things: what you are going through, your faith background, what you write in your journal and what you say to the companion. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who processes it.
The short version: we collect what we need to run the service. Your journal, quiz answers and chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your journal, chats or quiz answers for advertising. You can export or permanently delete everything from the Account page.
1. Who is responsible
Faith Companion is operated by Insight Agência de Marketing LTDA (CNPJ 54.884.128/0001-94), a company based in Brazil. For privacy questions or requests, write to support@faithcompanionn.online.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and your first name.
- Quiz answers: what you tell us in the quiz, which includes what you are going through and your faith background.
- Journal entries: what you write in your journal.
- Chat messages: the messages you send to the companion and its replies.
- Generated content: the devotional plans and prayers created for you.
- Purchase record: confirmation that a payment was made, which we receive from Hotmart. We never see or store your card number.
- Referral tags: if you arrived from an ad or a link that carries campaign tags, we store those tags with your quiz. They tell us which ad or link was used, not who you are, and they are kept in our own database.
- Session cookie: one essential cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Technical data: basic server logs and your IP address, used to limit abuse and keep the service secure.
3. Sensitive information
Your quiz answers, journal and chats can reveal your religious beliefs and other private things, such as struggles you are facing. Some privacy laws treat religious belief as sensitive information.
We use this information only to provide the service to you: to build your plan, write your prayers and answer you in the chat. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
You decide what to write. Please do not include details you would not want processed as described in this policy.
4. Why we use your information
- To create your account and sign you in with a link sent by email.
- To build your 30-day devotional plan from your quiz answers.
- To generate reflections, journaling questions, prayers and the companion's replies.
- To save your journal, plan and conversations so you can come back to them.
- To confirm your purchase and handle refund requests.
- To send service emails, such as sign-in links.
- To send the free 3-day preview and a short series of follow-up emails to people who take the free quiz and give us their email address.
- To apply usage limits, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- To show crisis resources when a message suggests someone may be in danger, as described in our Crisis Protocol.
5. How the AI works with your content
Faith Companion uses AI models from Anthropic to generate its content. To generate a response, we send the relevant content to Anthropic. That includes your quiz answers, your journal entries and your chat messages.
For example, when you press "Turn this into a prayer", the journal entry is sent to the AI provider so it can write the prayer. When you send a chat message, that message is sent so it can write the reply.
Anthropic processes this content on our behalf under its commercial terms. According to Anthropic's published policies as of October 2026, it does not use this content to train its models by default, and it deletes it from its systems within 30 days, except where it has to keep it longer, for example content flagged for a violation of its usage policy, or where the law requires it. If you do not want something sent to an AI provider, do not write it in the quiz, the journal or the chat.
7. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use your journal, chat or quiz content for advertising or ad targeting.
- We do not send your quiz answers or the theme of your plan to advertising tools.
- We never receive or store your card number.
8. The free quiz and emails
If you take the free quiz and give us your email address, we send you a free 3-day preview by email, followed by a short series of emails about Faith Companion. We keep your email address and your quiz answers in order to do that.
Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to support@faithcompanionn.online and ask us to delete your information.
10. How long we keep it
If you have an account, we keep your information until you delete the account. Deleting your account from the Account page permanently removes your journal, chats, plans, prayers and quiz answers. This cannot be undone.
If you took the free quiz but never bought, we keep your email address and quiz answers until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Purchase records stay with Hotmart, which keeps its own transaction records.
11. Your choices and rights
- Access and export: download all your data from the Account page.
- Delete: permanently delete your account and all its data from the Account page.
- Unsubscribe: use the link in any email from the quiz preview or follow-up series.
- Ask us: for any privacy request or question, write to support@faithcompanionn.online.
- Residents of some US states may have additional privacy rights under state law. If that applies to you, you can use the same contact, support@faithcompanionn.online, to make a request. We will not treat you differently for making one.
12. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. There are no passwords to steal, because sign-in uses a link sent to your email, and session tokens are stored in hashed form. Secrets such as our service keys are kept on the server, not in your browser.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that yours will never be accessed without permission. Keep your email account secure, since it is the key to your Faith Companion account.
13. Where data is processed
The company is based in Brazil. Our service providers process data in the United States and may process it in other countries. By using Faith Companion you understand that your information will be processed outside the place where you live.
14. Children and teens
Faith Companion is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and never from children under 13.
If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, write to support@faithcompanionn.online and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell you by email or inside the app.
